Objet Polyjet Technology is a revolutionary process, the first to combine ink-jet technology with photopolymers. The secret to the technology is 16 micron layers built in as little as six seconds! The drop-on-demand ink-jet head assembly deposits fine droplets of resin (both model material and support material) as a UV lamp immediately cures the material. As with all rapid prototyping systems, this is done on a layer-by-layer basis.

The high resolution of the print head and the small layer thickness in the build process offers highly detailed and accurate prototypes. These attributes make Objet a common choice for form & fit analysis, design validation, presentation models and pattern generation.
